Creating and Saving Designs: The Basics

Firstly, make sure the new document is created and opened at the correct bleed size. You can visit https://www.4over4.com/fileprep for specific bleed measurements for different size products. Also, make sure the document is in CMYK and set to 300dpi. If working in photoshop please make sure to flatten the layers before sending it to 4OVER4. If you are working in a vector-based program (ex: Illustrator) we recommend you outline all your text prior to saving and sending us the artwork. Additionally, crop marks and registration marks are not necessary so avoid including them. We also recommend that all transparencies be flattened and that overprint is turned off.
