How do I set up bleeds on a postcard file?

Bleed is the extra image area that extends past the trim line so you never get a thin white edge after cutting. Setting it up correctly takes one step in your design file.

• Add 0.125" (1/8") of bleed on all four sides.
• For a 4" x 6" postcard, build the document at 4.25" x 6.25".
• Extend all background colors and images fully to the bleed edge.
• Keep text and logos at least 0.125" inside the trim line so nothing gets cut off.
• If you add trackable QR codes, keep them inside the safe zone too so nothing is clipped at the cut.
