What is a print marketing kit
A print marketing kit is one bundle that covers a whole job instead of a single item. Rather than ordering business cards on Monday, flyers on Thursday and a banner two weeks later, a kit lists the pieces a launch, a storefront or an event needs, so one set of artwork can carry across all of them. Each piece is then ordered on its own product page.
A sales kit is the same idea aimed at people who sell face to face: the pocket folder a rep hands across a table, a 3.5 x 2 inch business card, an 8.5 x 11 sell sheet and a folded brochure that fits the folder pocket. Marketing kits lean toward reach, so 4 x 6 postcards, flyers and signage; sales kits lean toward the handoff, so folders, sell sheets and cards on a heavier stock. If you are unsure which side you are on, ask what happens at the end of the conversation: something mailed, or something handed over.
- Owners opening or rebranding: cards, letterhead and envelopes that share one design from day one.
- Sales reps and account teams: a pocket folder, a one page sell sheet and cards, all cut to fit a standard 8.5 x 11 folder pocket.
- Event and trade show teams: booth signage, table graphics, programs and the handout people walk away with, sized around a 10 x 10 booth.
- Retail and seasonal marketers: postcards, counter cards and window signage produced as one seasonal push instead of three separate orders.
How to choose a kit
- Industry kits: choose these when the same set repeats every quarter for a trade such as real estate, food service, salons or contractors, and the sizes are already settled. Industry kits run from 3 pieces, like the contractor job site kit, to 18, like the cannabis dispensary packaging set, and the realtor open house kit sits in between with 12.
- Event kits: choose these when a date drives the order, a show, a wedding or a conference, and the signage plus the handouts have to be on site before the doors open.
- Starter kits: choose these for a new business or a rebrand, when the goal is one consistent identity across cards, stationery and a first run of flyers.
- Seasonal kits: choose these for a holiday or a promotion window, where greeting cards, postcards and in store signage all have to carry the same offer.
To build your own set, browse every item on products or narrow it down by use on shop by, then compare your list with a kit to see which pieces it leaves out.
Print kit questions
What is included in a print kit?
Every kit page lists the products it bundles, the quantity of each one and the starting price for the set, so the 5-piece salon launch suite shows five products, five quantities and one starting price before you order. The pieces are the same standard products sold on their own, each ordered on its own product page.
Can I order pieces from a kit separately?
Yes. Each piece in a kit has its own product page, so you can order a single item, or take a kit and drop the pieces you do not need. You can use the kit as a checklist, then adjust the quantities piece by piece before ordering.
Do kit prices update automatically?
The starting price on a kit is built from the products and the quantities that kit lists. Change a quantity, a size, a stock or a finish on any piece and the price recalculates on that product page, so read the kit price as the starting point for the set rather than a fixed package.
