How do I set up my artwork for full bleed printing?

Full bleed means your artwork prints all the way to the trimmed edge with no white border. To set it up, extend any background or image past the trim line into the bleed area, and keep important content inside the safe zone. • Extend art into the bleed: run backgrounds 1/8 inch past every edge so trimming never exposes white.
• Respect the trim line: the trim is where the cut happens, and it can move slightly, which is why bleed exists.
• Keep content in the safe zone: hold text and logos at least 1/8 inch inside the trim so nothing is clipped.
