Do I need a special pen to write on carbonless forms?

No special pen is needed. Carbonless (NCR) paper reacts to pressure, not to any particular ink, so a standard pen does the job.

• A regular ballpoint pen transfers cleanly through every ply.
• Press firmly so the pressure reaches the bottom copy.
• Avoid felt-tip markers and light pencil strokes, they do not transfer well.
• Rest the pad on a hard, flat surface for the crispest copies.
