Question

What are the stickers/labels made of?

Answer

Stickers and labels are built from a printed face material bonded to an adhesive and mounted on a peel-away liner. The face stock you pick is what determines the look, feel and durability of the finished piece.

  • Paper face stock: economical and great for indoor packaging, boxes and short-term use.
  • Vinyl and BOPP film: plastic-based, water resistant and durable, ideal for bottles, outdoor and high-handling applications.
  • Adhesive layer: a pressure-sensitive glue (permanent or removable) that bonds when pressed.
  • Release liner: the backing sheet you peel off before applying.

Finishes such as gloss, matte or laminate can be added on top of the face stock for extra shine and protection.
