Are the stickers and labels waterproof?
Answer
Stickers and labels can be made waterproof, but it comes down to the stock and finish you choose. A laminate or a water-resistant film is what lets a label shrug off moisture, condensation, and handling.
- Add a laminate or choose a vinyl/film stock to make labels waterproof.
- Uncoated paper labels are not waterproof on their own.
- Waterproof options are ideal for bottles, coolers, outdoor use, and anything that gets wet.
Vinyl stocks, such as White Vinyl on die-cut and vinyl stickers, hold up to water and outdoor use. Paper label stocks are not waterproof on their own.
