How thick are your custom labels?

Custom labels are intentionally thin so they lie flat and wrap smoothly around curved surfaces like bottles and jars. The total thickness is a combination of three layers rather than a single sheet.

• Face stock: the printed top layer. Paper faces are thinner, while vinyl and BOPP film faces are slightly thicker for durability.
• Adhesive layer: a thin, even coat of pressure-sensitive glue underneath the face stock.
• Backing liner: the release sheet you peel away, which is not part of the applied label.

Because the applied label is only the face plus adhesive, it stays flexible enough to conform to tight curves without lifting at the edges. If you need a heavier, more rigid feel, choosing a film face stock or adding lamination increases the effective thickness and stiffness.
