I can't upload my design file-what should I do?
Trouble uploading is usually a browser or file-type hiccup and easy to get around. Try the quick fixes first, then let support step in if it keeps happening.
Quick things to try:
- Switch to a current version of Chrome or Firefox and use a stable connection
- Refresh the page and clear your browser cache
- Confirm the file type is accepted (PDF, AI, JPEG, TIFF, or PNG) and that the file is under the size limit
- Shrink a very large file: export a flattened print-ready PDF, or compress it into a zip (for InDesign, package the file with all linked images and fonts first, then zip)
- Turn off ad blockers or extensions that can block uploads
- If an error appears the moment you click upload, the link may have expired, so ask support for a fresh upload link
If it still will not go through, email the file to 4OVER4 support with your order number and any instructions (product, quantity, special setup notes), and the team will attach it to your order, post proofs for your review, and send email updates on the file status. For very large files, send a WeTransfer, Dropbox, Google Drive, or FTP link instead of an attachment. You can also choose Upload Files Later at checkout to finish the order first, then add the files from your account dashboard or by email. When contacting support, mention your browser and the exact error message so the team can diagnose the issue quickly.
