Do files for event badges need bleed?

Yes. Event badge files need bleed, just like every other print file, so color and artwork reach the edge cleanly.

• Add 1/8 inch (0.125") bleed on all sides so the design runs to the edge.
• Keep names, titles, and logos at least 1/8 inch inside the trim so nothing is cut off.
• Build the file at the badge's final size in CMYK.

Setting bleed correctly up front prevents thin white edges after the badges are cut.
