Can 4OVER4 print vibrant fluorescent or neon colors?

True fluorescent and neon colors are not something standard printing can reproduce. Everyday full-color printing uses CMYK process inks, and those inks cannot hit the glowing, high-energy brightness that dedicated neon or fluorescent inks produce, so a neon in your file will print as the closest ordinary color instead.

• Why it happens: CMYK has a limited gamut and simply has no ink that emits that fluorescent pop.
• What you will see: bright neons come out as their nearest solid CMYK match, which looks flatter than on screen.
• Workarounds: use the brightest possible in-gamut CMYK build of your color, print bold saturated color on bright white stock (a saturated background pops harder than the same color as small type), or use specialty finishes and eye-catching stocks to add impact where a true neon is not possible.
• Special requests: fluorescent inks can sometimes be handled as a custom quote. Contact support with your size, quantity, stock, deadline, design files, and a color reference or target swatch, and the estimations department will confirm what is achievable.

If neon ink is a hard requirement and a custom quote does not cover it, a shop that specializes in fluorescent or spot-color inks is the right route.
