What does '4/0' mean on a postcard or print order?
Answer
The two numbers in a spec like 4/0 describe how many ink colors print on each side of the sheet. The first number is the front, the second is the back, and 4 stands for full color CMYK.

- 4/0 (say it as four over zero) prints color on the front with nothing on the back
- Choose 4/4 when you need full color on both sides, such as a mailing panel or extra messaging
- The zero always means that side is left unprinted
If you set up a job as 4/0 but need the back printed too, switch it to double sided (4/4) before it goes to production.
