UV coating is a liquid polymer laid over the printed sheet and cured instantly under ultraviolet light. The result is a hard, glassy layer that guards against scratches, fingerprints, and moisture while making colors look deeper and more saturated. You can coat the whole card or only chosen areas, which is called spot UV.
