What file dimensions should I use for my print project?

File dimensions always depend on the product you are printing, but the rule is the same across the board: build your file at the finished (trim) size, then add bleed on every side so color runs cleanly off the edge after cutting.
- Start with the finished size of the piece, then add 0.125 inch (1/8 inch) of bleed on all four sides.
- Keep important text and logos inside a safe margin, roughly 0.125 inch in from the trim line.
- Set the file to CMYK color mode at 300 dpi or higher for crisp, accurate print.
- When in doubt, check the specifications listed on the product page before you upload.
