What are the requirements for postcards that will be mailed with postage?

Postcards mailed on their own with postage and no envelope have to meet postal shape and size rules, so the dimensions of your card matter for the rate you pay.

• Postcard rate: USPS postcard pricing generally applies from 3.5" x 5" up to 4.25" x 6"
• Larger cards: anything bigger mails at letter or flat rates, not the postcard rate
• Custom die-cut shapes: may not qualify for automated postcard rates and can have limitations
