Question
What type of files do you accept for Greeting Cards?
Answer
For the sharpest results on greeting cards, a print-ready PDF is strongly preferred because it locks fonts, layout, and color in place. Several other common formats are accepted as well, as long as the file is high resolution and built to the correct size.
| Format | Notes |
|---|---|
| Preferred, print-ready with fonts and images embedded | |
| JPG | Accepted at high resolution |
| TIFF | Accepted, good for uncompressed image quality |
| EPS | Accepted for vector-based artwork |
- Build artwork at 300 DPI at the final print size
- Include bleed so nothing important sits at the trim edge
- Set the file in CMYK for accurate color
