Question

How detailed can my custom shape be?

Answer

Custom die-cut shapes can be fairly intricate, but a few physical limits keep the cut clean and the piece durable.

  • Keep any part of the shape at least 0.25" wide. Thinner sections can bend or tear.
  • Smooth curves cut more cleanly than sharp interior angles.
  • Avoid tiny isolated points or spikes that can catch and fold.
  • Build the cut line as a vector path so the blade follows it precisely.

Files are usually reviewed before production, and any risky detail gets flagged so you can adjust it.
