Question
Can I get a custom quote for a unique project?
Answer
Yes. When a job goes beyond the standard options online, the 4OVER4.COM Custom Projects team can price it for you. Standard products show instant pricing through the calculator on each product page, so a custom quote is only needed when your specs fall outside those options.
- Send your specifications: product type, flat and finished dimensions in inches, quantity, paper stock and weight (for example 100lb gloss text or 16pt cover), ink and sides (4/4 full color both sides or 4/0 one-sided), and finishes such as lamination, foil, spot UV, die-cutting, embossing, scoring, folding, or binding. For booklets, include page count and binding method.
- Attach artwork, mockups, or a press-ready PDF with 0.125" bleed and outlined fonts; for a custom shape, include a die line or a sketch of the outline.
- Ask for pricing at two or three quantity levels to see where the per-unit cost drops, and request estimates at different turnaround speeds so you can weigh cost against timing.
- Include your deadline and ship-to address so freight and turnaround can be estimated, and reference the previous order number if the job is a reprint.
- Submit through the Custom Project page, the website contact form, or by email to the estimations department; for a complex job you can request a phone call to work through the options in one conversation (business hours 10 am to 6 pm, Monday through Friday).
- A team member reviews the request and follows up, usually within one business day.
- Custom runs are ideal for unusual sizes, large volumes, special materials, or finishes not listed on a product page, and samples can be mailed on request if you want to feel a stock before committing.
Setting up an account first keeps your files and quote in one place, and the more detail you share up front, the faster and more accurate your quote will be.
