Question
What file formats are accepted for booklets?
Answer
A print-ready PDF is the most reliable format for booklet artwork because it holds your fonts, images, and page order in one file. Other common design formats work too when a PDF is not an option.
- Preferred: PDF with all fonts embedded or outlined, images at 300 DPI at final size, and 0.125" bleed on all sides.
- Also accepted by most printers: AI, PSD, and other standard design files.
- Page order: arrange pages in sequence and let the printer handle imposition for binding.
- No design software? an online booklet designer lets you build directly in the browser without uploading files.
