What paper should I use for water bottle labels?

Standard paper stocks, including 100# gloss text, are not built for labels that get submerged or sit in constant contact with water. Paper wicks moisture and breaks down, so the label wrinkles, discolors, or peels. Water bottle labels need a water-resistant material instead.
