What are the artwork bleed requirements for stickers?

Sticker bleed is simply extra artwork that extends beyond the final cut size so no white edge appears after trimming. The standard is 0.125" (1/8") of bleed on every side, which means your file is slightly larger than the finished sticker in both directions.

• How it works: add 0.125" of art past the trim on all four sides.
• Do the math: a finished 8.25" x 3.75" sticker needs an 8.5" x 4" file to include bleed.
• Extend backgrounds: run color and images fully into the bleed, not just to the trim line.
• Safety margin: keep important text, logos, and key elements at least 0.125" inside the trim line.
• Why it matters: cutting shifts slightly, and bleed keeps that movement from exposing a white paper edge.
• File setup: build the file at the finished size plus bleed, in CMYK at 300 DPI.
