What paper should I use if I want to write on the cards by hand?

If you plan to write on your cards by hand, choose an uncoated stock. Uncoated paper has a slightly textured, absorbent surface that lets ballpoint, gel, and fountain pen ink dry into the fibers instead of smearing. Glossy or UV-coated surfaces seal the paper, so ink beads up and rubs off, which is why gloss cover is not suitable for pen writing.

• 14pt or 18pt Cream Uncoated (both sides) for a warm, writable surface front and back.
• 15pt Coated 1 Side (C1S) when you want a printed, coated front and an uncoated back you can write on.
• Avoid gloss or aqueous/UV coated stocks for any area you intend to sign or address by hand.
