Question

How do I reorder a previous print job but with updated artwork or design changes?

Answer

You can start from a past order and swap in new files. The key is to place it as a reprint first, then flag it clearly so our team knows the artwork is changing.

StepWhat to do
1Open Order History and find the previous order.
2Click Actions on the far right, then choose Reprint. This adds the order to your cart.
3In the Comments section, type NOT A REPRINT so we know the design is changing.
4Proceed to the free online proof, open the blue Proof button, continue, then reject the proofs.
5Add the comment NOT A REPRINT again. After rejecting, refresh and upload your updated files.

You can also upload the revised file at Step 1 of the cart when the new order is created, and a fresh online proof is generated from it. If you would rather have our team make the edits, contact support with the previous order number and the exact changes, for example an updated phone number or email; an editable PDF speeds this up. Team-made text edits carry an $8 typesetting fee, with additional charges if a font in your file is unavailable and must be substituted. Designs saved to your account can be edited directly before reordering, and some products such as business cards may offer free reorders. Either way, a new free online proof is posted and only you can accept and approve it for production, which is exactly why a changed design is treated as a new order rather than a straight reprint: it keeps the outdated file from ever reaching the press. Options and turnaround vary by product, so confirm the latest details with 4OVER4 support.
