To give a business card a solid background color in the design tool, you can either use the add background control or drop in a shape that covers the whole card and color it. Both approaches place a colored layer behind your text and logo.

• Use add background: open the add background option and choose your color to fill the entire card at once.
• Or add a colored box: insert a text box or shape, size it to cover the full card, then apply your chosen fill color to it.
• Send it to the back: set the colored layer as the background so your details sit on top and stay readable.
• Cover the bleed: stretch the color slightly past the card edge so trimming never leaves a white border.
