Question
What file resolution and size do I need for my order?
Answer
For crisp printed results, build files at the final product size and save them at a high resolution.
- Use 300 DPI (dots per inch) or higher at the actual print size.
- Create the document at the finished dimensions rather than scaling a small file up.
- Avoid enlarging low-resolution web images (72 DPI), which print soft or pixelated.
| Resolution | Result |
|---|---|
| 300 DPI or more | Sharp, print-ready |
| 150 to 299 DPI | Usable for large-format viewed at a distance |
| Under 150 DPI | Likely blurry or pixelated |
If a file falls below spec, re-export at full resolution instead of upscaling.
