Common questions
What can I make with these tools?
A menu, a label, a numbered ticket or gift certificate, an invoice or estimate, a calendar, a photo collage, a QR code and a barcode. Each one comes out as a print-ready file.
Are they really free?
Yes. They run in your browser, with no watermark and no limit on how many you make. You only need an account to save a QR code or make a dynamic one.
Is anything I type uploaded?
No. Every one of these builds its document on the page, in your browser. The one exception is the QR code generator, which saves a code to your 4OVER4 account when you sign in.
Can I print what they make at home?
Yes, and the sheets come with cut lines. For anything numbered or in quantity, we print it on press and cut it clean.
A tool that finishes the job
A size chart tells you a menu is 8.5 by 11 inches. That does not get a menu printed. These tools take the thing you actually have, the dishes, the prices, the guest list, the serial numbers, and lay it out as a document that is ready to go on press.
Every one of them runs in your browser, with no watermark and no limit. Nothing is uploaded, and only the QR code generator uses an account, to save your codes.
Numbering is where hand-made tickets go wrong
Tickets, certificates and labels are only useful when each one is different. Numbering them by hand in a design tool is where mistakes happen: a duplicate ticket sells the same seat twice and a duplicate certificate is money given away twice.
The makers here number every piece in sequence, print the same number on a ticket and its stub, and let you start from wherever the last batch stopped.
