- Pick the label kind: Product, Address, Jar or bottle, or Nutrition Facts.
- Pick the label size, from a 2 x 1 in address label to a 2 in round jar lid.
- Type what the label says, or the amounts for a Nutrition Facts panel. Addresses can be the same on every label or different on each, and a product or jar label can carry a barcode.
- Choose a colour, the sheet and how many sheets, then check the sheet preview.
- Download the labels as a PDF with cut lines, or order Roll Labels for a long run.
Round, oval and rectangular are different jobs
A round label goes on a jar lid and has no corners to peel. An oval suits a bottle, because the curve follows the shoulder. A rectangle is for a box or an address. The tool draws the real shape, so you see what the die will cut rather than a rectangle you imagine trimmed.
The Nutrition Facts panel is a legal layout, not a design
The FDA sets the type sizes, the rule weights and the order of the lines. This lays that panel out correctly so it looks like the panel a regulator expects.
What it cannot do is work out your numbers. The values, the daily percentages, the allergen statement and whether the panel applies to you at all are your responsibility. This tool gives no regulatory advice.
Sheets against rolls
A sheet you cut yourself is right for fifty jars at a farmers' market. For a longer run, roll labels are cut on a die to the same shape every time and come off the roll in order, which matters when you apply them by hand.

Questions about free label maker
Can I put a barcode on a label?
Yes. Type a code and it is printed as Code 128 at the bottom of each label. For a retail UPC use the barcode generator, which handles the check digit.
Does it make Nutrition Facts labels?
It lays out the FDA panel with the right type sizes and rules. The numbers are yours; the tool checks nothing and gives no regulatory advice.
What label sizes are there?
2 x 1, 3 x 2, 4 x 3, 2.5 x 3.5 in rectangles, a 2 in round for jar lids and a 3 x 2 in oval.
How many fit on a page?
It works that out for the size and sheet you pick and tells you, then lays them out with cut lines.
