An invoice has to be readable, has to add up, and has to carry the few things a customer and an accountant both look for: who it is from, who it is for, a number, a date, what was done, and the total. Everything else is decoration that gets in the way.

This one lays those out in the order people read them, puts the total where the eye lands, and gives you a PDF that prints the same everywhere. The tax rate, the wording and the figures are yours: it does no tax advice and checks nothing for you.

An estimate is not a bill. It says what the work would cost and until when that price holds. Switching the mode here changes the heading, swaps the due date for a valid-until date, changes the total's label, and adds a line saying plainly that it is not a bill, so nobody pays it by mistake.
