Question
Can I print a QR code on the address side of a postcard?
Answer
You can include a QR code on the address side, but only in the correct zone. The right side of the address panel is reserved for the delivery address and the USPS barcode, and clutter there can cause scanning or delivery problems.
- Place the QR code on the left (message) side of the address panel.
- Never put it in the address block or the barcode clear area on the right side.
- Keep clear space around the code so a phone camera reads it cleanly.
- Link it to a useful destination like your website, menu, or campaign landing page.
