Question
What should I do if I think there's a trimming or margin error on my proof?
Answer
If a trim or margin looks wrong on your proof, hold off on approving and flag it so it can be checked before printing. Trimming issues usually come down to one of two causes.
- A file issue, such as artwork with no bleed or important content sitting too close to the cut line.
- A setup or proof issue, where the layout was configured incorrectly.
Contact 4OVER4 support with your order number and describe exactly what you are seeing, and whether you think it is a file problem or a printing problem. The team can tell you whether the file needs adjusting or the proof needs to be redone, then post a corrected version for your approval.
