Question
Can I approve a physical proof digitally instead of in person?
Answer
Approving a physical proof digitally is possible but not the standard approach, mainly because it limits real color review.
- Digital approval is convenient and avoids waiting to sign off in person.
- The tradeoff is that you are not evaluating the actual physical sample, so color matching is harder.
- For color-critical jobs, reviewing the physical proof in hand is safer.
- Contact your account representative to discuss what fits your situation.
