What size are movie posters?

The standard movie poster is 27" x 40", known in the industry as a "one-sheet." It has been the theatrical standard since the 1980s and is what you see framed in cinema lobbies.

• One-sheet: 27" x 40", the classic full-size theatrical poster.
• Mini poster: 11" x 17", used for promos, giveaways, and tighter spaces.
• Bus stop / half-sheet and larger formats also exist, but the one-sheet is the default when someone says "movie poster."

If you are printing a custom one-sheet, set your file to 27" x 40" with 0.125" bleed on all sides, CMYK color, and 300 DPI so the artwork stays crisp.
