How do I hang posters in a straight line?
Answer
Getting a row of posters perfectly level takes two cheap tools: a bubble level and painter's tape. Plan the layout before anything touches the wall and you will avoid crooked results and extra holes.
- Dry run on the floor: arrange the posters first to lock in spacing and order.
- Mark with tape: place small tape pieces where each poster's top corners will sit.
- Level the line: run the bubble level across your marks to confirm they align.
- Step back and check: view from across the room before committing.
Keep consistent gaps between posters, usually 2 to 4 inches, so the grouping reads as one clean gallery wall.
