How much bleed should I add to my wine label design file?
Answer
Add 0.125 inch (one-eighth inch) of bleed on every side of your wine label design. Bleed is extra background that runs past the trim line so no thin white slivers appear if the cut shifts slightly during production. In practice, your document should be 0.25 inch larger than the finished trim size in both width and height.
