Which Pantone colors are hardest to convert to CMYK?
Answer
The colors that give CMYK the most trouble are the ones that sit at the edges of, or outside, the process gamut. Anything highly saturated, metallic, or fluorescent tends to lose its punch once it is broken into four-ink dots.

- Saturated single-hue colors are the biggest risk, since CMYK reaches them only by mixing, which lowers their intensity.
