Do laminated badges need a plastic sleeve or can they connect directly to lanyards?

Laminated badges already have a protective plastic film sealed over both sides, so they do not need an extra plastic sleeve. They can connect directly to a lanyard through a punched slot or hole.

• Lamination guards against scuffs, moisture, and bent corners, which is exactly what a sleeve would otherwise do.
• Direct attachment keeps the badge slimmer and shows your full design without a sleeve edge in the way.
• Add a lanyard slot at order time so the badge is ready to clip on with no extra hardware.

If you prefer a sleeve for a specific look or reusability, that is still an option, but it is not required for durability.
