What file formats are supported for uploading to 4OVER4?

4OVER4 supports the standard print file formats. If you hit a "File Not Supported" message, it usually just means the file needs to be exported a different way.

• Re-save your artwork in a different accepted format, such as PDF, AI, or EPS.
• Flatten complex files and export a clean print-ready PDF if the original will not upload.
• Make sure the file is not corrupted or password protected.

Accepted formats are PDF (preferred), AI, EPS, PSD, TIFF and high-resolution JPG. Build the file in CMYK at 300 DPI or higher at final size, with 1/8" (0.125") bleed on each side and fonts outlined or embedded; RGB and Pantone files are converted to CMYK, which can shift some colors. A PDF/X-1a or PDF/X-4 export preset gives the most reliable result.
