Question
Can I submit InDesign files directly to 4OVER4 for printing?
Answer
Yes, InDesign files are accepted, but they need to travel with everything they depend on so nothing shifts or drops out on press.
Package the file correctly:
- Include all fonts used in the document, or convert every bit of text to outlines
- Include all linked images at full resolution
- Use the Package feature in InDesign to gather fonts and links in one folder
- Export a print-ready PDF as a backup so the team can proof it right away
This keeps fonts and images from becoming a compatibility problem during production.
