What’s the difference between a Table Runner and a Table Throw?

The difference comes down to coverage. A table runner is a narrow, long piece of fabric that lays across the top of the table, while a table throw (also called a tablecloth) is a full cover that drapes over the entire table.
- Table runner: a slim strip of branded fabric placed on top of a bare table or over a tablecloth, drawing the eye to a focal strip.
- Table throw: a full-size cover that wraps the top and sides of the table for complete coverage and branding.
