How do I install a window cling?
Answer
There are several ways to apply a window cling, but a wet install is highly recommended because it gives you time to reposition and to push out bubbles.
- Clean the glass thoroughly and dry it
- Lightly mist the window with water mixed with a drop of soap
- Place the cling on the wet surface and slide it into position
- Use a squeegee from the center outward to press out water and air
- Wipe the edges and let it settle
The water lets the cling float until it is exactly where you want it, then it grips cleanly as the surface dries.
