Question
For paper selection - what is the thickest I can print and still be okay with the Post Office?
Answer
The post office limits how thick a mailable postcard can be. According to the USPS, a postcard cannot exceed 16 points in thickness.
- Maximum postcard thickness for mailing is 16 pt.
- Staying at or under that limit keeps your piece eligible for postcard handling.
- Refer to the USPS guidelines for the full mailing standards.
