How do I convert between points, pounds, and GSM?
Answer
There is no exact formula, because each system measures something different. Points measure thickness, pounds measure the weight of 500 sheets at a base size, and GSM measures weight per square meter.

Because thickness and weight are not perfectly linked, points are the most practical way to compare how a card will actually feel.
