Process color is full-color printing created by combining the four CMYK inks, cyan, magenta, yellow, and black, in tiny overlapping dots. Your eye blends those dots into a continuous image, which makes process color the standard way to reproduce photographs and multicolor artwork.

- Ideal for photos, gradients, and designs with many colors.
- Differs from spot color, which uses a single premixed ink per color.
