Business Card Printing in NYC, Same Day

A card for a closing on Water Street, a pitch in Long Island City or a gallery opening in Chelsea is the first thing a new contact holds, and 500 standard 14pt gloss cards cost $36.26. 4OVER4.COM has printed for the city from a facility in Queens since 1999, so your cards come from a press across the river, not a warehouse two time zones away.

That home-field position is the difference. National-only sites route every NYC order through distant fulfillment centers. We are already here, which means same-day business cards, will-call pickup at the plant, and next-day ground to every borough. You still order from the company wide catalog of 60+ paper stocks and finishes that most Manhattan storefronts never keep in stock.

The fastest answer in this city comes from a counter: a drugstore photo desk or a copy shop that writes a time on your receipt, ready by five. That time is real, and so is what it costs you. The counter prints on the one or two house stocks in the back room, at the size its machine cuts, with no proof to approve before the run.

Plenty of national sites will print your cards. What they cannot offer a New Yorker is proximity. Their presses sit far from the five boroughs, so every rush is at the mercy of a long shipping lane. Our press is in Queens, which turns "I need these by Thursday" from a gamble into a plan: you approve a proof, the job runs here, and the finished cards move across the city by same-day pickup or courier instead of crossing three states first.

Two questions settle most rush orders. What time do I have to order to get business cards today? Choose Same Day Business Cards, upload a print-ready file, and beat the cutoff the calculator shows for that configuration; after it, the identical order becomes the next business day. Is there a rush fee? Same day carries a priority production charge over standard turnaround, shown in the price before you check out, on the same stocks and with the same proof as a standard job.

Selection is the other gap. A typical online storefront pushes a handful of house stocks. Across the whole catalog, 4OVER4.COM keeps 60+ paper types plus specialty finishes on the same floor, so a designer in SoHo and a broker in FiDi can order wildly different cards from one supplier. Every order ships with a free digital proof and a 100% quality guarantee. If your cards do not match the proof you approved, we reprint them.

The quality does not change with your ZIP code. A card printed for a studio in Williamsburg comes off the same press as one bound for a firm in Chicago or Los Angeles. Being in New York just means it gets to you faster. To test that quality yourself, our guide to judging business card print quality walks through weight, finish, edges and color.

Every NYC ZIP, from 10004 at the tip of Manhattan out to Flushing, the Bronx, Staten Island and every block of Brooklyn and Queens, sits in UPS Zone 2 from our plant. Because production sits in Queens, standard UPS Ground reaches the city in one business day after your cards come off the press.

On a real deadline, two paths open up that national sites cannot match: order Same Day Business Cards for the fastest turn, or arrange will-call pickup at the plant. With a 99.8% on-time record and tracking on every order, your launch, conference, or opening stays on schedule.
