What is the Safe Zone on my product template and can artwork bleed outside of it?
Answer
The Safe Zone is the printable area of your template, shown in green. Anything meaningful should sit inside it, because artwork outside that boundary is trimmed away or does not print.
- Only artwork inside the green Safe Zone is printed.
- Images or text outside the Safe Zone will be cut off or dropped.
- Keep all important artwork and text within the Safe Zone boundaries.
You can still extend background color into the bleed for edge-to-edge coverage. Just keep key elements inside the Safe Zone.
