I need to resize my artwork for a different product size. What should I do?
Answer
When you move a design to a different product size, you will need to rebuild the file at the new dimensions. 4OVER4 does not automatically scale artwork, because stretching a file can blur images and throw off the bleed and safe zone.
To prep the new file:
- Set your document to the exact size the new product requires
- Add 1/8" (0.125") bleed on each side
- Keep everything at 300 DPI so nothing looks soft
- Reposition text and logos inside the safe zone for the new size
- Re-export as a print-ready PDF before uploading
