What file resolution and quality do you need for printing?

Print resolution is measured in DPI (dots per inch), and 300 DPI at final size is the standard for crisp output. Files that fall below that threshold are held for review rather than pushed to press, so it pays to check before uploading.

• Target 300 DPI or greater at the exact size the piece will print.
• Files below 300 DPI may be rejected and will need to be resubmitted at the correct resolution.
• Web images are often only 72 DPI, which looks fine on screen but prints blurry.
• Flatten and export as a print-ready PDF to lock the resolution in place.
