Question
How long does letterpress printing take to produce?
Answer
Letterpress usually takes longer than digital printing because each design needs a custom plate and the sheets are run on a hand-fed press. Turnaround varies by product and quantity.
- Custom plate creation is required before the press run begins.
- Hand-fed press operation adds time compared with digital production.
- Turnaround depends on the specific product and the quantity ordered.
- Shipping time is added after production based on the speed you select.
