How long does foil stamped printing take to produce?

Foil stamping is a specialty process, so foil products take longer than plain printing. The calculator shows 7 business days on most foil products (raised foil and metallic foil business cards and postcards, foil wedding invitations), 9 on foil business cards and foil flyers, and 10 on silk aluminum foil business cards and raised foil pocket folders. After the base printing is finished, the metallic foil is pressed onto the sheet with a heated die in a separate stamping pass, and that extra handling is what adds the time.
