How long does the proofing process take for my order?
Answer
After you place your order, the team reviews your files and makes a proof available online. How long it takes depends on the product and current volume, and one option skips the step entirely.
- Files are reviewed after ordering, then a proof is posted for you to view.
- If you selected Straight To Production, the proof approval step is skipped and the job goes directly to production once it passes file review.
Keep an eye on your email for the proof notification, and reach out to support for a timing estimate on your specific job.
The file review checks resolution, color mode, bleed and trim. On products that qualify for auto-proofing the proof is posted within minutes; otherwise it usually takes about 20 minutes, or up to one business day.
